CHICA Las Vegas Renovation Inspires a New Sound Install
What started as a small renovation to add a live-fire kitchen to CHICA restaurant at the Venetian, in Las Vegas, turned into a multi-million dollar makeover to renovate the space with the help of design and architecture firm the Rockwell Group. This renovation included a new sound design done by Anthem SSL Productions, installing 1 SOUND.
Friday and Saturday nights after 10 pm, the space turns into a supper club with bottle service, live entertainment, and dancing. Cannon C6’s were installed throughout the restaurant and facing the bar. 1 SOUND SUB310’s were discreetly distributed for the low end.
“It’s basically a brand new restaurant,” John Kunkel, restaurateur and owner of CHICA, says of the renovations at the Las Vegas location. “You take a perfectly good restaurant. It’s making money and everybody’s happy with it and you just redo it because you think you can make it better.”
