1 SOUND Brings Michelin-Star Sound to Dallas’ Mamani Restaurant

In October 2025, Mamani, a fine dining destination in Dallas, earned a Michelin star, marking a milestone for the city’s culinary scene. From its inspiration drawn from London’s private members clubs to its ambitious pursuit of culinary excellence, every detail of Mamani—including its audio—was carefully considered. To bring this vision to life, 1 SOUND recommended our trusted partner in the area, Bespoke Technology Group, to design and install a custom audio system that combined high-fidelity sound and aesthetic integration.
Phil Ayache, President of Bespoke Technology Group, worked directly with Brandon Cohanim, co-owner of Feels like Home hospitality group, to make sure they achieved the goals for the audio integration in Mamani. “We brought him to one of our client’s restaurants with 1 SOUND in Dallas, gave him full control over playback, and let him experience the system across a wide spectrum of music. From classical to EDM, he was convinced—this was the sound he wanted for Mamani,” explained Ayache.
“Mamani’s dining experience required sound that is present, immersive, yet unobtrusive—enhancing the meal without drawing attention to itself,” said Phil Ayache. “Despite challenges like curved ceilings, hard walls, and Venetian plaster finishes, the system delivers clarity and depth in every corner of the restaurant.”
1 SOUND’s Cannon Series was selected for this space to offer high-fidelity listening. Made with a silk dome tweeter, the Cannons produce highly intelligible audio that works for an environment that encourages conversation around the dinner table. For the main dining areas and bar, Cannon C5i’s were deployed. Cannon C6i’s are deployed in the main foyer and where the chef’s table is to provide additional throw and SPL as they were mounted higher up on the walls. In the private dining room, Bespoke used Cannon C4i’s. For distributed bass, 1 SOUND’s SUB28s and Floor Sub FSUB45s were hidden inside banquets. The sonic quality remained consistent into the outdoor patio seating, where Cannon C5s were mounted and FSUB45s deployed in the planters. The audio system is all powered by Powersoft Unica amplifiers.The Cannons were mounted with discreet Swivel Mounts that are virtually invisible and provide precise horizontal and downward aiming. The SUB28 subwoofers are ideal for strategically fitting within banquette seating, while offering a great amount of SPL in a compact form while directing the energy outward, thus minimizing vibration and resonance in diners’ seats.
“There is an impressive amount of sound pressure those subs put out without being disruptive to anyone sitting on them. Brandon went and sat on top of every single sub in the restaurant just to make sure. I love clients that care that much about the end result that they want it to be perfect for the diners and even throughout the space,” explained Ayache. “It sounds great. They’ve hired us for a couple more projects that we’ve already started. And we are actually redoing a couple of their pre-existing venues which we are putting 1 SOUND into. We are excited about that.”

Bespoke led the design and installation, consulting 1 SOUND on speaker placement, tuning, and custom design. 1 SOUND’s Custom Shop worked closely to match the painted walls and wood finishes throughout the bar and dining areas, ensuring the system integrated seamlessly into the restaurant’s interiors. Post-install, 1 SOUND provided onsite tuning and commissioning to guarantee an exceptional audio experience, supporting the ambitious vision of a restaurant pursuing Michelin recognition.
