Paris Hotel & Casino Elevates the Guest Experience with a Distributed 1 SOUND Audio System

Paris Hotel & Casino

At Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, audio is now integral to the experience. Following the success of a major renovation at Caesars Palace, Caesars Entertainment sought to elevate the guest experience throughout Paris Las Vegas with a modern audio system capable of delivering consistent, high-energy sound across the casino floor, lobby, and retail corridors.

Having requested to hear 1 SOUND specifically, Caesars Entertainment was introduced to Global AV Group, who partnered with 1 SOUND to design and integrate a distributed audio solution tailored to the property's unique architectural and operational requirements.

The existing system had served the property for decades, but the goal was not simply to replace aging equipment. Caesars wanted to create a more engaging environment that matched the energy of the venue while maintaining clarity throughout the expansive space.

“The system at Paris Hotel had probably been in use for about 30 years,” explained Jason Ojeda of Global AV Group. “After the renovation at Caesars Palace, the team really wanted to engage the customer in a different experience with high-level, high-impact audio.”

Demonstration That Shaped the Entire Design

Before finalizing the design, Global AV Group was asked to showcase a design approach in an on-site loudspeaker shootout, bringing a custom-finished 1 SOUND Level 35 that performed against an alternative solution already under consideration. Through the 1 SOUND Custom Shop, Global AV Group provided the extra detail, finishing the Level 35 to match the surrounding aesthetic, where 1 SOUND provided a color match and the custom loudspeaker within a week’s time, allowing Caesars Entertainment to evaluate both the sonic performance and visual integration within the space. The demonstration quickly established the direction of the project.

“We chose the Level 35 because it fit the columns perfectly,” said Ojeda. “Once we got one in the air for the demonstration and with the sound and the aesthetic, the decision was pretty much made.” That successful test run became the foundation for the property's new audio strategy.

Designing for a Challenging Environment

The casino floor presented several acoustic challenges. Large open areas, decorative columns, and expansive dome ceilings required a system capable of delivering intelligibility and impact without allowing sound to become lost within the architecture.

Using Auralis acoustical modeling software, Global AV Group developed a distributed design centered around 1 SOUND's Level Series loudspeakers and subwoofers. The system was designed to keep sound close to guests rather than relying on loudspeakers mounted high above the floor.

“The progressive horn really mattered," said Ojeda. "It helped provide intelligibility throughout the entire casino floor.”

According to 1 SOUND Founder and Chief Designer Lou Mannarino, the Level Series was uniquely suited for the project because of its progressive horn design and ability to provide long throw distances while remaining visually discreet.

“The asymmetrical horn and deployment really enable the throw quite far,” explained Mannarino. “We're getting 40 to 50 feet and then opening up softly around the columns. That's how we're achieving the sound we're after.”

Mounted throughout the casino floor and integrated within the property's architectural elements, the Level loudspeakers provided the coverage required without visually dominating the space.

Bringing Energy to the Entire Property

The final deployment incorporated Level 35 and Level 38 loudspeakers, Cannon C6 loudspeakers, SUB28 subwoofers, and WSUB45i wall subwoofers, creating a distributed audio system tailored to the different needs of the casino floor, hospitality areas, and retail environments throughout the property.

Level 35 loudspeakers and SUB28 subwoofers were utilized throughout the casino floor and lobby. In higher-energy areas such as the property's main bar, Level L38 loudspeakers provided additional output, while wall-mounted subwoofers helped deliver low-frequency support where floor-space constraints limited traditional subwoofer placement.

“The Level 35s fit in between the decor,” said Mannarino. “The SUB28s are able to hide behind different machines and furniture.”

Beyond the gaming floor, the project extended into Le Boulevard, Paris Las Vegas' collection of boutiques, restaurants, and cafés. Cannon loudspeakers were deployed throughout the retail promenade, creating a consistent audio experience as guests move between shopping, dining, and gaming environments.

From the moment visitors enter the property, the audio experience remains cohesive and uninterrupted, helping establish a unified atmosphere throughout the resort.“We designed a high-fidelity music playback system,” said Ojeda. “We designed a high-energy music playback system with 60 subwoofers on property.”

The result is an environment where music contributes to the overall guest experience and marks a refreshed energy standard for the brand rather than simply serving as background noise.

The Next Phase of Audio Upgrades

Global AV Group led the system design and integration, while 1 SOUND provided design support, final tuning, and commissioning to ensure the system performed exactly as intended. The results have exceeded expectations.

“Every day that system is running efficiently since we've installed it,” said Ojeda. “We've had not one phone call to come back, and everything is running as perfectly as designed.”

The success of the installation has already led to the next phase of the relationship. “The success of the project was so great that the Paris team has asked us to come back and redo the entire cabaret space using 1 SOUND,” Ojeda shared.

That next phase will take place at Le Cabaret Lounge at Paris Las Vegas, continuing the property's investment in creating a more immersive and engaging guest experience through sound.
