Paco Yonque Upgrades to a Premium 1 SOUND System
Paco Yonque, a steakhouse in the heart of Miraflores in Lima, Peru, just upgraded to a premium audio system incorporating 1 SOUND. The high-end restaurant had struggled to achieve the sound and coverage they wanted, feeling the previous solutions were not achieving the experience they were curating. They contacted Sonar Audio, a design-build audio integrator based in Lima, to help implement the right system.
Sonar Audio designed a distributed system integrating 1 SOUND’s full range Cannon C8 and C5 loudspeakers. They mounted them discreetly with the Cannon Swivel Mount and C-Clamps. The Cannons are high-fidelity-sounding point sources that offer clear mid-high frequency, resulting in great sonic intelligibility in hospitality applications. “1 SOUND’s Cannon C8s deliver phenomenal sound, with a horn, it covers an impressive frequency range, offering incredibly even sound distribution,” stated Clifford Day, Director of Sonar Audio.
Mariana Bernal, Director of Sonar Audio, explains, “We discovered 1 SOUND several years ago. The owner and creator of the brand, Lou, is an expert in sound, and they are quite recognized in the American market. The client wanted the space to look great with the equipment and for everything to integrate perfectly. So we used the color of the wood finish in the venue as our reference.” The 1 SOUND Custom Shop was able to match the desired wood for these installed Cannons.

“The audio system is very good. We have solved a challenge that existed and really improved with this system,” explained Day. Following the installation, Bernal summed up the result of the improved system, saying, "The difference was amazing, and the owner is really happy with the result!"
