1 SOUND Listening Sessions in Beirut
Throughout September and into the first week of October, 7Hertz is hosting “The 1 SOUND Experience” in Beirut, Lebanon — marking the very first stop of 1 SOUND’s listening sessions. However, the journey doesn’t stop there: the series will continue in the UAE, with Dubai set to experience 1 SOUND for the very first time towards the end of the year, introducing its vibrant audio scene to industry professionals across the Emirates.
High above the bustling city, on a rooftop in the heart of Beirut, U.S.-made 1 SOUND loudspeakers were unveiled to the region in a series of private, invitation-only sessions. Handpicked guests — including audio professionals, consultants, hospitality leaders, interior designers, and architects — had the opportunity to experience the brand firsthand.
The demonstrations featured the Cannon Series C4, C6, and C8 loudspeakers paired with the SUB12, a powerful yet compact 12-inch reflex subwoofer with a 4-inch voice coil. Pushing the experience further, attendees also discovered the Contour Series CT28, a compact three-way passive loudspeaker delivering a massive 140 dB SPL, alongside a dual 15-inch subwoofer equipped with the latest TETRACOIL® technology.
The listening sessions took on a private atmosphere, with guests given the freedom to explore the venue at their own pace. Among them was Mr. Woody Naufal, Owner & CEO of Wicked Solutions, a Beirut-based AV rental company. “I find it difficult to even put it into words, it gave me goosebumps,” Naufal remarked. “Experiencing this level of sound quality — with such emotion surfacing throughout the demonstration — is a remarkable example of what sound should truly be.”
Early reactions have been nothing short of remarkable. “This is the best sound I have ever heard,” said renowned DJ and producer Said Mrad, a veteran with more than two decades in the industry. “I was blown away — listening to the Cannons was exceptional, and the CT28 gave me the feeling of being in an arena, not on an open rooftop in the middle of the city.”
Leonardo Dani, 1 SOUND’s Global Sales Executive, also traveled to Beirut to support the launch. “This is my first time in Lebanon, and I’m thrilled to be here with Joe and the 7Hertz Lebanon team.
