1 SOUND's "Tower 1 System" at The Library Lions Gala

The New York Public Library celebrated its annual Library Lions Gala, marking its 125th anniversary this year. This event celebrates arts, letters, and scholarship, and is the largest annual event as well as one of the most anticipated evenings on New York City’s cultural calendar.

Nearly 400 guests gathered, in the iconic Astor Hall for cocktails, as the orchestra played through 1 SOUND’s Tower 1 System. The Tower 1 System consists of a left and right of (3) Tower LCC44’s and a CSUB610. This is a pure sounding system because of 1 SOUND’s Clarity Technology©, a proprietary high frequency technology, in the Tower LCC44’s.

In this application, the subwoofers were firing in fully cardioid mode, creating cancellation at the back of the sub. This was in order to prevent unwanted reflections and to have low frequency rejection on stage for the orchestra members.
