Calvin Harris Debuts the 1 SOUND System at Kygo’s Palm Tree Club in Miami

Calvin Harris opened the season at Kygo’s Palm Tree Club in Miami as the first artist to perform on the newly installed 1 SOUND system.

Built to support this season’s headlining DJs, the system delivers the clarity and impact required for high-energy nights at one of Miami’s premier club destinations.

Anthem Productions selected a 1 SOUND system not only for its sonic clarity and SPL, but also as the solution to a key design challenge: achieving high SPL inside the venue while maintaining controlled, legal sound levels beyond the property line. Anthem has successfully helped other day clubs in the area minimize sound pollution off-site while still creating an environment capable of hosting world-class headliners.

For Palm Tree Club, Anthem collaborated with 1 SOUND to develop a system design centered around the cardioid Tower Series, ensuring sound remains focused within the club rather than spilling outward — especially important for this indoor/outdoor venue.

Tower LCC84s were deployed along the perimeter and mounted using stainless steel 316 Wall Brackets. These loudspeakers provide up to 20 dB of active off-axis cancellation behind the cabinet, helping keep sound contained within the space.

On the dance floor in front of the DJ booth, a ceiling-mounted Contour CT28 delivers powerful, high-SPL coverage. The CT28 is a 3-way loudspeaker capable of reaching a maximum SPL of 140 dB, ensuring full-impact performance where it matters most.

For low-frequency reinforcement, CSUB610 subwoofers were deployed throughout the venue, with select units configured in cardioid mode to maintain controlled active cardioid directivity and further limit bass energy traveling outside the property.

1 SOUND loudspeakers are IP55-rated and saltwater resistant, with stainless steel 316 components and accessories available — making them robust for an oceanfront venue in Miami like this one.
